I’m Trending #13 | The Urban Safari

Hey there my lovelies,

What to you think of looking fierce in the city by wearing ‘urban safari’ clothes. Correct me if I am wrong here, but this fashion trend is another one that continues to inspire modern styles and designs and that it comes back every so often.

So what is so special about this trend anyway? First of all, it makes any woman look wild and an individual. Then comes the bold yet simple shapes and to top it all off since most of looks are not skinny they do not make you look uncomfortable (thumbs up for comfort). I personally love the overall appearance including geometric patterns, earthly tones, and that hints of tribal and animal prints.

Yep, you got your green color shirts, lightweight leopard print vest, floppy sun hat and bold accessories.  There is no doubt in my mind that this trend will allow you to make yourself stand out, feel sophisticated and somewhat adventurous.

I’m feeling this trend and the first thing that you notice is the color. Truth be told I am not a fan of the olive green or khaki colour as I don’t feel that they suit me, however when paired with beige, ochre, camel, and the many other shades and hues of earthly colors then it’s a whole different story. Not to mention the bold prints, fierce hues (leopard, snake, zebra, as well as giraffe) finishing the look with some metallic accessories.

Of course like in any trend you can own it and make it work by putting your own personal touch by mixing your style to a piece from the trend and you got the look of the real safari girl down path.

It can be the nice khaki green jacket or the olive slipdress styled with boho inspired garments, like the ever so stylish floppy hat.  Or  how about the simple, wrinkled beige shirt-dress, a cool baseball cap and combat boots.

Anyway enough of my overly excited post and will let the picture to all the talking.

XOXO
