Tag Post #6 | The Ride Or Die Makeup Tag

Hey there my lovelies,

Welcome back to my blog!

It’s been a while since I did a tag post and after seeing a few of my favourite MUAs (started from my end by Jacklyn Hill) doing this tag.  Looked like fun, so I decided give it a try and after much deliberation and deleting a product to then put it up again we finally have the final list!!!  Check out if you are tagged at the end of this post, and yes you reading this you are tagged too, so let me know your ride or die products. I really look forward to reading you list 😀

Benefit Porefessional :  After debating over and over between this and the Nivea Aftershave Balm this made the cut as I have been reaching out for it more and more of lately.

Estee Lauder Double wear : I love all the foundations I own and will continue purchasing more different one, as I love testing out new foundations, but when I need to fell well put together, without a shadow of doubt I choose this one.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind : This one was an easy one considering the amount of back ups I have.  It’s just amazing I love how it suits my skin, covers all my dark circles and imperfections! I love it’s semi-matte finish, longevity and that it feels amazing on my skin.

Essence All About Matt finishing powder I have been using this powder for only a few months as I never used to find in at my local stores.  I heard so many good review on this product (well actually the loose version but still cannot seem to find it) I love this powder. I think it is easier to use with brush.  I really like the finish, it gives a nice, matte finish, just as is says on the back of the packaging.  I love it mostly cause the powder has a white/no color pay off, it helps balance that out darker foundation, but when applied it’s just clear.

RCMA No Color Powder : If you missed my raving moment on this product, well you might want to read it first.  Highly raved from a MUA and Youtubers alike, this product is UNBELEIVABLE!! This is a NO color powder which means there is really no color payoff when you put this on your skin which is amazing!!!

Milani baked in Luminoso : The colour of this blush is everything.  It has a soft, smooth texture that is a little powdery/dusty to work with, but it doesn’t dry or appear powdery once blended and buffed into the skin. The more you blend it the more luminous the finish becomes without looking overly shimmered or frosted. It just beautiful.

Catrice Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder in Medium :  I have not been lucky in finding a good bronzer in a while so when I came across this medium skin bronzer it looked like it matched my skin tone and so glad it did I love this bronzer as it’s really soft and silky.  Pigmentation is amazing for a drugstore product and I love that the product does not contain any shimmer or glitter. I love using it everyday because it is really matt and looks totally natural! Obviously product does not come in any fancy packaging but still it feels sturdy.

The Balm Mary Louminizer : A honey-hued luminizer that truly catches everybody’s eye. This highlighter, can easily be multi-used for instance as a shadow since it’s shimmer diffuses light so your skin looks softer and younger while adding a subtle glow.  Pleasantly, I can easily say it is everything I hoped and more and what everyone on YouTube has already said it would be, so I’ll keep this one short and sweet.

Flormar Precious Curl Mascara : I really like how this mascara works and I also like the appearance its give to my eyelashes. It really separates them and gives them precise definition.  The wand is curved and chubby but it doesn’t clump my lashes, and definitely does not stick them to each other.  Quite long lasting too.

GC Jacklyn Hill collab in Buttercup : I’ve loved lipsticks for as long as I can remember and when I read about this collab I knew I would love Buttercup, this beautiful pink nude that leaves an almost  cream sheen finish. Quite a fitting name, as this lipstick is so buttery and creamy! The scent reminds me of creamsicles.

GC 1995 and Iced Mocha : Could not decide between these two so I would probably grab them both … I love GC liquid matte range – definitely one of my favorite formulas, since they go on smoothly and are incredibly comfortable and lightweight. They are also long-lasting, and mostly transfer proof.

Pupa Dot Shock Balmy Gloss in #001 Petal Coral Not a big fan of glosses, in fact the once I own that were stored away I ended up give them to my sister and since the Pupa balmy gloss it nicely placed on my vanity I would definitely grab that but I do like it, especially because even though a gloss it’s not sticky at all and feels really nice on the lips.

Belle Lash : I do not use lashes that often however lately I have came to know of this local company and as we love to support local companies, then I would probably grap these first.  My favourite pair is JADE, however seeing as lashes are small I would probably also grab my Dodolashes too!!

Carli Bybel  collab with BH Cosmetics: The only BH cosmetics palette I own but I am very happy with it. All shadows are of good quality, texture and are nicely pigmented.  The highlighters are very intense, so go in with a light hand.

GC Slay All Day in Lavender : I can say that I have tried and tested many different setting spray but this one has been my go do ever since I got it.  I particularly like the earthy floral scent which is slightly overpowering when you spray on the product but it does not linger for more than 5 seconds.  I have been wearing this daily and I can say that maintains my makeup perfectly 😀 I will definitely re-stock!

J’adore by Christian Dior : I do not own this perfume at the moment – in fact it’s been a while since I last had it but it is the only perfume that I identity with (if that makes any sense). Its opulent, golden scent is amazing on the skin.  I think it’s a classic fragrance which also reflects in the bottle shaped like Greek amphora which represents the Dior femininity.  It’s has sweet but balmy scent, slightly sharp floral with fresh mandarin in the top; jasmine, plum, orchid and rose in the heart; and amaranth, musk and blackberry in the trail.

Quite a long one phew … but well worthwhile … I enjoyed compiling the list now onto the fun part the tag part so here it goes .. I tag Ally from Smashing Darling x, Davi from Lady with no Name, Stefy from Stefy Puglisevich, Abigail from Zeza’s Things, Dyna from Dyna, Lara from  Every Beauty Addict’s Bible, Thereseanne from A blonde on the Go, Dorianne from Ask Dorianne, Fiona from, Steph from Think.Love.Makeup and of course YOU who happened to stumble on my PAGE  reading this cause you got curious 😉

Until next time,
