What’s new #2 … Promotions at Melita Health and Beauty

Hey there my lovelies,

Welcome back to my Blog – to  my #bonuspost for today 😀

I was contacted by Melita Health and Beauty to see if I was interested in trying out an anti-wrinkle treatment (Redermic [R] by La Roche-Posay) and something like that is totally up my alley – I love trying new stuff especially the ones that help with anti-ageing.  Truth be told I personally never tried any of La Roche-Posay products but I  read good reviews on their vast range, so I was really looking forward to test this treatment out.

I will start off with the only thing that i did not enjoy from this product and that is the packaging.  I am not a fan of this type of packaging, the metal squeeze tube they used seems to be featured in most of La Roche-Posay products, but unfortunately eventually they break. I am sure that there is reason though, maybe it has something to do with protecting the efficacy of the active ingredients?

Packaging aside, the product itself is great. The sample I got is very generous (which is always a good idea when trying something new) and a little goes a long way. I don’t know that I used more than a pea sized amount for my entire face and a little less for my neck. The formula absorbs easily and does not remain tacky on the skin. Another plus for this product is that I did not experience any irritation while applying or wearing this (overnight).

The Redermic R feels soft and smooth on the skin and it has been the single anti-wrinkle cream I have been using these past weeks.  I cannot say that I have a lot of deeps lines but I’m now experiencing fine lines on my forehead, eyes and  side of mouth.

Product contains 0.3% retinol (0.1% pure retinol & 0.2% retinol linoleate). The pure retinol stimulates collagen and elastin, the retinol linoleate supports cell turnover and it also contains lipo hydroxy acid which exfoliates the skin. It has a slight floral scent but it’s not overpowering or irritating. Redermic R is intended to be used as an anti-ageing treatment so you can actually use this cream all over your face either with a moisturiser or on it’s own.

Overall experience: I am loving this product very much as I have started to see quite a noticeable difference in the fine lines and I must admit that I really enjoyed that and look forward in continuing with this treatment.

Until next time,

XOXO
