My Journey with CHIC Med-Aesthetic #3 (Part 4) | Laser Hair Removal : The second session

Hey there my lovelies,

CHIC-LOGOWelcome back to this #updatepost with regards to my experience with Laser Hair removal. Last Monday saw me back to CHIC Med-Aesthetic for my second session of hair removal specifically my full legs and underarms.

I was really looking forward to the session as I really was happy with the outcome of my regrowth situation with just one session.  I have explained in detail all you need to know on LHR here, took you along with me on my first session here and gave you a 5-week update here. The last three weeks quite literally flew by and I am going to be totally honest with you guys, I did not even realise that my leg and underarm hair had grown. The growth was so slow over these three weeks that I only checked the situation a day before my Monday appointment, as I had to see if I needed to shave!!!

As you might know it is always suggested that you shave before going in for LHR – reason being that it is waste of pulses and energy – since LHR is targeted in killing the root of the hair so if you do have a lot of hair that has grown before the session you need to shave.

Whilst writing this post it has now been over 24hrs from the session and I am glad to report that no redness is visible and I am only feeling a slight pain (like a sunburn feeling) in my inner thighs – other than that all is clear.  I am constantly applying E45, because in winter I get extremely dry skin but also because I found it very helpful and soothing.  Aloe vera is also good since it has also soothing properties.

I am loving the outcome from LHR – I do not know why it took me so long to get it done but I am happy I now did as it is really a blessing and the slight discomfort that you might feel whilst getting LHR does not compare with the fact you are hairless for a good 7weeks, I can not go back to having to shave every 2 days, all the cuts I endure and the time spent in the bath to make sure that I do not miss a patch and even if you shave a trillion times as soon as you step out you realise that yep you missed a patch as huge as the moon!!!! With LHR you are sure to know that all areas are meticulously checked and lasered away!

Until next time,

XOXO
