Hey there my lovelies,
Welcome back to my Blog!
Can you believe it … it was only yesterday we were celebrating New Year’s Day and here we are one month is already gone! Thankfully I must admit, as January is always a pretty pretty tough month 😦
So let’s see what I have been loving these past 31 days!
I haven’t had a pair of ‘going out’ trainers since the original 90’s Superstars but I had been eyeing the Stan Smiths for quite a while and when I got them for Christmas I just was SHOOK! I am totally #obsessed with them and basically I pair it up with everything 🙂 I am glad that Adidas are back on track with these kinda trainers as for a while they have been nah!
Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe Herbs And Rosewater
When I saw this on Beautybay.com I was OMG Mario Badescu is available internationally and I really had no idea that they made a super inexpensive facial mist! I picked it up earlier last year and it just about to finish but I already have 2 backups on the way 🙂 This facial spray With Aloe, Herbs And Rosewater does seem to get a few bad reviews due to the fragrance factor but I like it and never had an issue with fragrance for my skincare! The rose fragrance is very pleasant to me (kind of reminds me of the Roberts one). It is not the most hydrating facial mists out there but I like how it refreshes my skin. I typically use this mist to prep my face before I go in with my moisturiser/primer. I found this process allows my moisturizer to absorb more easily into my skin.
This has to be my most used foundation this month besides rediscovering the beauty of Vichy’s Dermablend but the L’Oreal Infallible has by far been the one I reached out for this month. Won’t get much into the deets as I have not long ago shared my first impression here. So go check it out but I will say that this, I really enjoy this foundation’s formula as it is quite like any other that I’ve tried, it is somewhat thinner and easier to work with and blends out so nicely. I also like that it feels light on the skin once blended I love that powdery feel to it.
I haven’t been using lots of eye shadows latest simple because I am always running late to go somewhere so basically I was into the ‘no makeup’ look but since I saw this I knew I had to get it. I got my review on this palette here if you want to check it out, but this palette is a MUST HAVE for anyone who loves neutral tones, it is very creamy to the touch, smooth and goes onto the eyelids effortlessly.
I really like the tapered shape of this mascara wand (which I believe is as the same as the original ScandalEyes) it made incredibly easy to work with it, the wand let’s you get to those corner lashes without getting mascara everywhere around the eyes. The brush itself also worked a treat in coating my lashes at the centre of my eyes from root to tip, so it’s not just good for the hard-to-reach lashes. I like my lashes noticeable, and for me, one coat of Reloaded didn’t quite get me the wow factor I was after so I built the volume as needed. I was really surprised to discover that even after three or four coats (for a super bold look) there was almost no clumping, just more pigment and volume.
I am a camo fan, don’t ask me why but I just do so when browsing through Gamiss I saw it I got it. It was seeing and reading lots of reviews at the time so what better way to try it then getting something, right. I was happy with the choice, material was nice and for the price it was, I’m pretty impressed. Besides the wait for package to arrive it was a good wait.
So there you go the first faves of the new year 🙂
Until next time,
