Hi everyone!

My name is Deborah and I am a beauty and fashion blogger from  Distorted Priorities. Today I am extremely happy that Caroline gave me the opportunity to guest blog on Diva Inside.

One of my favourite types of blogpost on my blog is taking an outfit that I wear during the day and I alter it with some pieces to make it night time appropriate. I know I am not alone when I say that sometimes I have a busy schedule and sometimes going home to change is not an option! I’ve done this before on my blog both outfit transformation and makeup transformation (I will link them at the end of the post), but today I went for a more summery outfit. I got this dress (details to the pieces will be at the end of the post) a couple of weeks ago and I am obsessed over it.

It’s so light so it doesn’t make you sweat but on the other hand the ‘sleeves’ are so unique that the dress itself makes a statement. Shall we see how I transformed this dress from day time to night time?! Let’s go!

Day time

I paired this striped dress with my-go-to type of footwear for summer and that is a pair of cute sandals. I got mine about 2 years ago and I still love them so much! I love the pink and blue colours and I feel that you can pair these sandals with literally anything!

Night time

To make this outfit night-time appropriate I added a couple of pieces. The first thing I added was this brown belt that I put around my waist to dress-up the outfit. The brown and gold cork sandals that I chose go perfectly with the belt and the wedge is super comfortable! I added this vibrant fuchsia bag which I got for my birthday from two of my best friends and although I was a bit hesitant about how to wear it in the beginning, I decided to go out of my comfort zone for once in my life and try to pair it with something simple to start with – I honestly wear it all the time now! To finish off the look I wore my Michael Kors watch which I believe is a statement piece for every woman out there – it’s so classy and elegant at the same time!

How simple was that?! I hope you enjoyed this blog post and thank you once again to Caroline for the opportunity! I hope I’ll see some of Caroline’s readers over on my blog Distorted Priorities.

See you soon!
