Hey there my lovelies,
Welcome back to my Blog!!!
Is is just me but weren’t we just here a few days ago doing the June faves and now here we are in August doing the July faves …. Good lawd more than half the year gone 😦
Oh well let’s get things started and run down what I have been reaching out for most for July.
Elizabeth Arden Sunflower : A celebration of summer’s simplicity and joy, this fragrance opens with sparkling fresh fruits that gradually unfold into rich floral at full bloom. Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers EDT comes in a bright yellow sealed package. There is basic information about ingredients given on the back of the package. The cardboard package itself is beautiful. The EDT comes in a sleek, glass bottle with a white cap. The name of the EDT is graved on the glass bottle. The cap closes with a click and as the packaging is very sleek, you can easily fit it in the corners of the bag or in between the clothes. The spray nozzle is pretty basic and it looks a bit cheap. The nozzle and the metal neck feel like the drugstore perfumes. However, the nozzle sprays the EDT effectively over a larger area and from a distance too. According to the website : The top notes are Bergamot, Melon, Peach and Osmanthus, the middle notes are Jasmine and Cyclamen and the base notes are Sandalwood and Moss.
3inA The fixing spray : A top notch fave, this setting in a 3in1 🙂 it’s a face primer, a fixing spray to set your make-up and to refresh your make-up from time to time: If you want your make-up to look flawless, the 3in1 fixing spray will be your new holy grail. The first thing I was immediately drawn to is the fact that it is a mist (I love my sprays to be misty) and that it goes over the skin in a fine, feather-light way, definitely discarding the annoying sprout that we know a number of sprays do. Also to add to these fab qualities it helps to prime your skin before you go in with your foundation. I really like the gentle formula, which leaves a refreshing and good feeling once applied. It also help to invigorate your face with a good boost of hydration whilst it’s soothing and moisturising properties leave your skin looking dewy.
Pupa contour and highlight palette : This palette is amazing, very compact, sturdy and the perfect quad for any new beginner that would like to try contouring and highlight. Highlighter is very nice, subtly illuminating powder The light contour shade is a a clear and tonalized powder ideal for the centre areas of the face, underneath the eye area. Perfect for blending and to correct the gray areas. The medium contour is a slightly cool toned powder, good for toning and blending the darker shade of contouring. Whilst on the other hand the dark contour is ideal for creating that intense shadow of contouring underneath your cheekbone and temples.
Limecrime Cashmere : Lime Crime describes Cashmere as a “Soft Greige”, or in other words, a combination of grey and beige. But to me, it’s more of a mauve nude – the most amazing one of them all. The Lime Crime Velvetines, are lipsticks that glide on liquid but dry matte. The Velvetines are also said to be touch/transfer-proof. The Velvetine tube slightly smaller than any other liquid lipsticks I own. The liquid lipstick glids on very smoothly, and I rarely use a lipliner.
There goes the list for this month.
Until next time,
