Collab Post #4 | Sparkling Jewellery for the Festive season from AUrate

Hey there my lovelies,

Welcome back to my Blog!

Another brand collab/feature for today’s post.  I am excited to help AUrate announce their new Christmas collections by choosing my favorite pieces on their website :).  The price point of this brand is a tad higher than I would normally feature on my Blog – but I do appreciate something which is of high quality and timeless and I do know that there might be someone out there that might have the means to buy these pieces. I love working on collaborations as it allows me to be featured on other Blogs and vice-versa.

As women we face two choices when it comes to jewelry. We either spend a fortune on fine big brand names jewelry usually 20 times the normal cost. Or buy costume jewelry, usually brass or copper based, that fades, changes color and that stains our skin. In comes AUrate which was founded to offer women the alternative to buy fine jewelry at a fair price. They provide the same quality as traditional brand names for less.  By working exclusively on-line, they cut out the middleman and avoid overhead such as in-store costs.

So let’s get this post rolling with some information on the company : AU|rate – Fine jewelry -You shouldn’t have to choose between high quality, fair pricing and doing good. So we focused on what matters: durable materials, transparent pricing, sustainable production, and tangible giving. Here’s to one less concession you have to make. We’re big believers in buying the best you can afford, and that goes for the materials we source, too. We seek out the purest 14- and 18-karat gold, procure pearls from Japan and the South Sea, and only use S1-clarity diamonds.  Beautiful jewelry shouldn’t have an ugly side. We rigorously insist on the highest ethical and environmental standards for every ounce of gold and carat of diamond we use. We only use materials we’re proud of to make jewelry you feel good about. We make the jewelry we always wanted to wear but could never find. Some of our pieces are statements, some of them are classic staples, all of them are completely original – and so are the ways you can mix them up or switch them out depending on your plans, your mood, or whether your boss is coming in that day. There’s no substitute for craftsmanship honed over a lifetime. We’ve found the most experienced sets of hands right here in NYC to hand-make and finish every one of our pieces, and each of our master jewelers is as much of a devil for detail as we are.

Materials are sourced in accordance with high standards of social, environmental, and human rights practices, while diamonds and pearls are purchased from conflict-free regions. It’s a guilt-free buying experience, for your wallet and your conscience. The jewelry itself is beautifully classic and wearable.   Pieces are made from real 14k and 18k gold (a couple ways you can tell is by looking for a stamp that marks the karat weight and if it’s not magnetic), the rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings all look amazing. Whether you prefare a dainty standalone piece or layer pieces on top of each other, the jewelry is elegantly versatile.

My ideal look for a New Year’s do. I went for nude and sparly dress, faux fur, strappy sandals and a good sized Gucci bag, where as for my choice of AUrate jewellery I opted to layer these two stunning pieces seeing as the deep plunging neckline allows that, a statement ring and show stopping earrings.
