Hey there my lovelies,
Another show another post 🙂
The women behind the brand Édith is Natalie Bronfman, who comes from a background of fine arts (Accademia di Costume e Moda, Rome & Parsons School of Design, NYC), having worked as a successful Costume Designer for film, theatre, opera, and television.
With Édith, Natalie is able to explore the sculptural & textural aspects of design allowing her designs to take her where her mind leads. She connects history and modernity in one garment with a fluidity that speaks of ease and uniqueness.
I loved the fact that the collection is inspired by the 80’s. I really loved this collection as it was one pleasant to watch. The colour scheme was right up my alley, with predominant black ensembles, infused with enough of red and gold silk lingerie, pointed bralets (made famous in the 80’s by Madonna), moving on to stylish and wearable evening dresses, with some interesting creations including a military style blazer adorned with gold paper flakes.
All in all I really like most of the pieces from this collection mainly because Black is my all time favourite colour and I am pretty sure you all agree with me 🙂
