Hey there my lovelies,
And here it the final show for day 5 of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Malta was another that I was really anticipating and looking forward to watch.
The name of the collection Al Magrib (Morocco) in itself is very intriguing as it is inspired by the designers travels to Morocco. Needless to say Morocco is also known for its beautiful architecture and vibrant colours.
I totally fell in love with the colour palette chosen from my favourite lack to burnt orange to beige, being the predominant colours of the Al Magrib collection. However, the contrast with denim (LOVE) and cobalt blue is what made it stand out. Loved also the inclusion of mainly other fabric like suede and printed material to name a few. Hats off also for the vast variety of styles from which one can choose. This collection had tailored suits, detailing jackets, exquisite evening gowns and also swimwear! A very strong collection right down to the detailing including the new custom made silver jewellery the models were sporting.
Makeup I totally loved, very edgy with bright eye shadows on beautiful glowy faces. Lead make artist for this collection was Elaine Galea assisted by Deborah Micallef, Henry Galea, Rodianne Caruana, Marilyn Montebello, Rebecca Busuttil, Sharon Zito and Francesco Calersio. Love also the hair styling for this collection done by lead hairstylist Flavia Borg Attard, Silvio Mizzi, Marianne Zammit Fiteni, Rosaire Sare, Martha Mallia and Kylie Micallef.
AMAZING collection dearest RoseMarie! Well done a truly well thought collection and loved the model roller skating the look 🙂 TOP prop.
Until next time,
