#ICYMI #9 | The Emmy’s 2018
Welcome back to my Blog!
As per tradition here in my Blog I am about to share all my faves form the latest awards show which happened last Monday.
The 2018 Emmys in another moment in the awards calendar that I excited to see to find out who will take home the coveted golden statuettes, however I have to be really honest, I am really here for what the celebrities wear on the red carpet.
The 70th Annual Primetime Emmys include some of my favorite and while the chances that they take home an award may be slim, the red carpet gives everyone a chance to feel like a winner.
So let’s take a look at which stars won me over with their show-stopping dresses. It is merely a case of hit or miss as everything is subjective, but when it comes to red carpet fashion one can be sure that the style never disappoints.
Who would have though that the 2017’s Pantone’s color of the year, greenery, would still alive, and Dakota Fanning is proof of that in this GORGEOUS draped Dior haute couture gown. Paired with matching earrings, it’s a timeless look. 9/10
I think it is pretty much impossible for Scarlett Johansson to look bad. However when she hit the red carpet with this AMAZING structured white Balmain dress I was blown away!!!. Everything about it is perfection, the draping and extra deep-V that make that EXTRA unique. 10/10
Riverdale’s Madelaine Petsch look a EXTRA sophisticated take on the colorblocking with a green and a black bodice and a sheer skirt atop a reflective brocade. I have to say that this strapless custom Prada gown feels anything but dated. 8/10
I don’t know about you guys but I do sometimes get the feeling that a white gown can tend to feel, a tad too bridal. However having said that Jessica Biel’s Ralph & Russo couture dress is anything but that. Can you imagine how many hours it took to sew on all those ruffles! 9/10
One of my fave ex-Grey’s actress Sandra Oh, is giving me life in this STUNNING red Ralph & Russo dress. 10/10
In my eyes anyone who is a brand ambassador does no wrong and it definitely applies to Penelope Cruz who stunned the red carpet wearing Chanel custom grey silk-tulle gown which might I add it casually took 280 hours to embroider!!!! 10/10
For the Emmy’s carpet I saw a lot of pink gowns however is thinking pink, however Thandie Newton’s Brandon Maxwell gown was the one that hit home. I mean that neck scarf !!!! I can’t even. 10/10
However, I have to stay true to my roots and I love my Malta and I cannot finish this post without mention this. The most stunning of all was “13 Reasons Why” actress Ajiona Alexus wearing our ambassadors Charles & Ron “Palazzo” collection for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards, Hulu Party. 100/100
Until next time,
