Review Post #37 | My Labradorite : My protection stone

Hey there my lovelies,

Welcome back to my Blog!

There was a story from the Inuit peoples – the First Peoples of Canada that claimed Labradorite fell from the frozen fire of the Aurora Borealis, shimmering in a mystical light that separates the waking world from unseen realms.  Of course, this is only a myth, however, it illustrates the beauty and illustrates the beauty of so many cultures interested in this spectacular stone. The stone, usually gray-green, dark gray, black or grayish-white, is composed of layers that refract light as iridescent flashes of peacock blue, gold, pale green, or coppery red. It was discovered in Labrador, Canada, by missionaries in 1770 who named it for the area.

The stone is a healing stone and it’s properties come from it being a natural air stone, so it comes as no surprise that it helps to heal energies associated with creativity. If you are looking to increase your self-confidence and find your deeper potential, this is your stone and you need to check it out.

I have been wearing it or carrying around with me for the last month or so and I have made these realisation with regards to the following.

Physical: The Labradorite beneficial to the lungs and may assist with respiratory problems, bronchitis, and colds. It assists in digestion, regulation, and metabolism. It may also be soothing during menstruation, for PMS symptoms, and for pain relief.  The latter, was what I needed to hear as I have been having read bad PMS lately and I must admit that this month it help a lot with the pain.

Emotional: The Labradorite calms an overactive mind and energizes the imagination. It encourages contemplation and introspection, bringing the clarity of thought and intuitive wisdom to help bring light to tough issues and bring one to peace. It helps to banish fears and insecurities while enhancing faith and reliance in oneself and trust in the universe.

This for me was a tough cookie to break.  See not many people know me that well to understand why I keep everything to myself.  Most of the time I share information or give out information of what I want people to perceive of me, hence my mind is on an overactive overload.  Due to this I have not been sleeping well at all as my mind is constantly thinking.  However when a few weeks back,  I got fever out of nowhere and my whole body was in pain was was about to shut down on me, I placed the Labradorite stone underneath my pillow in the hopes of a good night sleep and I surprisingly did.  It worked wonders and it felt like for the first time for as long as I can remember I slept like a baby, which in turn resulted into my body feeling much better.

Anytime you’re using gemstones, it’s important to wear them as close to the skin as possible; this helps you to absorb the energy directly. Things like bracelets, bangles, necklaces, and earrings all do a wonderful job of helping to absorb this vibration! However, since this stone is specifically related to the second chakra, placing it on top of an area will help to bring about deeper healing- especially if you’re visualizing the stone’s energy healing you.

In conclusion, I was honestly skeptical as to whether all the properties said that crystals contains, would actually worked for me but I was proved wrong.  Coming to the the understanding to be open to receive all the benefits that they carry was the key element for me and I do highly recommend to try this amazing experience.

If interested to find out more and to see if you can find the crystal that is calling your name here is all the information you need :
