Hey there my lovelies,
Welcome back to my Blog! What a treat (yes/no/maybe?) hehe. Another post in two days making it a total of three this week – too much? But hey there is a lot going on 🙂
Anyways, February it is the month of love and even though, we are still recovering from Christmas and January sales, here were are pushed into celebrating yet another man-made holiday. Although not everyone enjoys it there are people that do still enjoy celebrating it.
I haven’t done a specific topic related trending post but I thought why not try it out and if you like me hate falling into the ‘given’ category as just like Christmas when you think of Valentine’s Day, the colour red is probably one of the first colour that pops into your head. However, let’s shake things up a little nit and opt for other four colors options to wear on V-Day.
An avid fan of Black #blackeverythingeveryday, I think Black is the colour to wear if you are not sure what to wear for Valentine’s. Here’s a few styles, so whatever you’re doing on the 14th, you can do Valentine’s the fashion way.
Heading out early this V-Day? Perfect …. more time to drink Processo, right? But remember, it’s still winter and it’s still cold so keep warm in an all-black affair. Skin tight jeans, sky high boots, and a leather jacket are a winning combination. And if your date ain’t hot well at least your outfit will be.
Channel your inner off-duty model in a smart blazer dress, and sleek hair. Team with stiletto heels for your new ultimate outfit crush that’s perfect for after work drinks. Oh, and if things go well, this is a look you can definitely go “out-out” in.
Burgundy is a twist on the classic Valentine’s day red. Play this color up with different fabrics such as leather, velvet, and jazz it up with your favourite accessories!
If like me you love that ’80s fashion and ya’ll know you secretly to, then try to opt for something like this faux leather dress that has amazing puff sleeves at the shoulder. Yazz it up with a pair of fishnets and finish the look off with block heels to dress it up.
A personal fave, I bring you the lace dress – which in my opinion is always a good idea. This style, very successfully, captures winter in the perfect way. Dress it up for that killer look with a pair of suede slouchy boots and leather jacket and you are set to conquer your night.
You can literally never go wrong with nude. Go for a monochromatic outfit for a sleek look or add a touch of nude with heels to elongate your legs. No matter what, nude will always look good on you. So find a nude that flatters your skin tone and wear the heck out of it!
A slinky slip just screams romance, and if you’re headed to a fancy date night it’s an easy piece to throw on that looks absolutely a killer. Dress it up even further with a sparkly purse and strappy black heels but don’t forget your faux fur to finish off the look.
Sport multiple shades of the hue like a chic coat, a slightly oversized sweater, a cross body, and blush heels for a more relaxed night out.
In my eyes winter white is a beautiful colour. An all white outfit is super chic and you can definitely pull it off for Valentine’s day. Pair your look with a bright red lip and you are set for the win!
If the all white look is not something that your would be feel comfortable with then add black to divert a little bit from the all white ensemble. Make sure you feel comfortable when wearing it.
Another personal favourite and that I currently have a thing for pantsuits for women. Love the 80-90’s vibes that are back and they make me happy in a major way. Pair a double-breasted white blazer with slim matching pants, for a gorgeous and sophisticated outfit that you can wear to impress.
So my loves, did you enjoy that? I hope you did as much as I did to do this post. Let me know your faves and what will you be wearing for V-Day.
Until next time,
