Hey there my lovelies,
Welcome back to my Blog!
Third and final show for Day 6 of #MFWA2019 was none other than the very popular brand by Designer Marco Parascandalo with his sixth collection!
I really love Marco’s work and moreover, ever since I have gotten to know him and work with him, like all local designers he is humble, grounded and very helpful. As I have said over and over again, his brand Parascandalo is the number one local brand that has revolutionized the local street wear term. In just six years you cannot go somewhere and not come across a Parascandalo item and this is something for our small island and I truly applaud him for his consistency!
However, after six years, one starts to question how far is he willing to take his brand, will the street style fade away just like that, because there is not much else where one can take this particular style?
Nonetheless, Marco came in and proved me so wrong, oh my my, I was blown away, I did not see the beautiful colour palette coming! He gave us fun and unique pieces for his summer collection in both male and female and I was loving each and every piece! I could hardly contain myself.
Then all of a sudden, the mood on the runway changed and just when I thought the show was over, Marco surprised me by coming out with yet another collection – his new Winter collection – in one show – WOW. I was screaming inside; one by the fact the he introduced us to an amazing local Indie band by the name Oxygyn, two Marco told me that he helped co-write the runway song Blindfold which I cannot stop listening on Spotify (I truly suggest you check it as it’s just amazing, three the winter collection – AMAZING! He gave us bold and statement pieces that just elevated street-style as we know it to a whole different level! I really but really NNEEEDDD the skirt Bojana was wearing!!! Like RN!!!
Bravo dearest Marco – have to say that you truly surprised me 360 degrees with these two collections and I cannot wait to own something from these two collections.
Until next time,
