Hey there my lovelies,
Welcome back to my Blog!
Do not hate on my but since August is over I am so ready for Fall and Winter and even though sadly and to my disbelief I live in a country where summer is extended far more than I wish!
So today’s post is all about what preparations I am about to slowly transition from Summer to Fall/Winter essentials and even if you might not agree with me in needing certain fashion basics by 40! I know that most of you doubt and say no to a classic blazer or basic jeans that make your butt look great. These essentials are the foundation of a classic wardrobe, anchoring whatever crazy, amazing pieces you find along the way. Once you master your personal needs rather than frantically getting dressed in the morning – with these classics it should be a lot easier to dress up and look much chicer.
The Silk Blouse
It’s the shirt that inspires many to buy it in duplicate. Why? The beauty of a silk shirt lies in its versatility: It looks as great with a pencil skirt as it does tucked into high-waist jeans. Win win π

The Slightly Oversize White Shirt
You could fill a closet with variations of a white button-down but if you’re looking to buy one that can pull double duty, the oversize one has to be it and this it because it’s cut makes it so that you can wear it over slim cigarette pants but it’s not so big that you can’t do the half tuck into a pair of jeans.

The Shirt Dress
Lightweight and perfect construction for a relaxed fit. Wear it any day of the week to work, open the buttons deep, and roll up the sleeves on the weekend.

The Tailored Pants
Choose a fit and style that is the most flattering for your body! I personally prefer straight or tapered leg, but for you taller ladies, a boot-cut style might look better! I love the fact that you can never go wrong choosing classic black pants!

The Biker Jacket
The best leather jackets feel like they’ve been lived in for some time. And they don’t have to cost a fortune. You just have to be very careful and look for versions that are not too complicated and once that you like most.

The Denim Jacket
As tempting as it may be to buy an oversize denim jacket and wear it off the shoulders, a slim, fitted style is a better purchase in terms of how much wear you will get out of it. Give dresses, sweaters, and button-ups a casual, I-just-threw-this-together vibe by throwing one over your shoulders.

The Trench Coat

The Perfect Blazer

The Wrap Coat

Well now that the basics are covered – hope you are eagerly awaiting the Fall season just like I am π
Until next time,
