Gabrielle stepped it up with this year’s collection L’Amoureux. I felt that whilst staying true to her style which I personally find appealing and interesting she went forward and presented a very sophisticated and well put together collection.
While attendance is always well packed at established local designers’ shows, with everyone traditionally looking to see what has inspired the respective designer for their take on fashion trends, at MCAST there are many new, young, up-and-comers, quite possibly the future of our local fashion industry and what a cool way to celebrate and promote these new talents by bring back the New Designers show and give them a spotlight during the coveted week of Malta Fashion Week,

I know that I am probably overwhelming you with an overload of blog post but it is that time of the year to build up the excitement and give our brilliant designers their due spotlight.
The collection concurrently praise the foundation of her native heritage, as these traditional Festa`s are a part of one’s upbringing, here in Malta. Just as the expression suggests, VIVA expresses support and admiration towards the tradition and those commemorated through each celebration.
This year’s collection is entitled L’Amoureux, which represents one of the cards found within the tarot deck.
