Event Post #9 | Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Malta | Day 2 : Saz Mifsud Pollen’s Poetry Exhibition

Hey there my lovelies,

Besides the array of shows, this year’s Fashion week also organised for some of our local talent to showcase their work, in a form of an exhibition. First being Saz Mifsud’s Pollen’s Poetry exhibition.

Now if you are new to Saz Mifsud I would suggest you check here site as you will definitely see something you like.

Like all of here creations, Ms. Mifsud surely did not disappoint us with her new collection. However, in my humble opinion this one is by far the most intriguing of them all.  The new scarves are beautiful handcrafted and I really look forward in owning one of the scarves as they easily can take any casual outfit and turn it up a notch effortlessly.

Saz Mifsud’s new silk scarves is inspired by flowers and whilst the process is quite intense it is all her dedication really comes out.

To create a design after photos are taken, they are then 20160515_203741transferred to the computer.  The photographs are digitally merged with semi-abstract painting created by the designer.  This gives the motifs interesting textures. The design is then created, blending one element with another, until it becomes a complete design.  Although simplified in this explanation, the design process can take up to a few weeks.

Sarah’s work is amazing and I love her pieces which besides being unique, they will never go out of style.

Be sure to check the exhibition if you can as it is definitely worthed.
